My Background
I started Helpful CFO because I kept seeing the same problem: small and mid-sized business owners making expensive financial decisions without the right expertise in their corner — not because they didn’t care, but because a full-time CFO was out of reach.
I’ve spent over 21 years working in finance and accounting across large publicly traded companies and small private businesses in multiple industries. I’ve led teams through growth and turnaround, managed acquisitions, performed due diligence, investigated fraud, restructured financial processes, and guided companies through complex decisions with a steady, practical mindset.
My philosophy is simple: communicate clearly, solve problems efficiently, and do both in a timely manner.

Most engagements are conducted remotely, making it easy to work together regardless of your location. When needed, we’re available for on-site visits as well.
We have experience with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and some experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
